Statement of Condemnation and Mourning by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir 

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep concern, strong condemnation, and heartfelt condolences over the tragic loss of countless Palestinian civilians and children due to the relentless attacks by Israeli forces in the besieged Gaza Strip over the past few days.  

"Even during the holy month of Ramadan, the Palestinian people are facing inhumane brutality. The Gaza Strip has been turned into a killing field. Ignoring international laws and norms, indiscriminate airstrikes have mercilessly taken the lives of over a thousand Palestinians, including women and infants. After more than a year of continuous Israeli aggression, Gaza is now transforming into a barren wasteland—a horrifying land of death. Despite a ceasefire, these renewed attacks are illegal and constitute heinous crimes against humanity. The international community must take urgent action to stop the bloodshed in Gaza. This brutal Israeli aggression is part of a well-planned strategy to erase the Palestinian nation. The occupying Israeli forces are continuing their dominance without any regard for global public opinion. The world must raise its voice more strongly to stop Israel’s expansionist aggression and ensure the security, peace, and stability of the Palestinian people. 

"I pray for the forgiveness of the departed souls of the Palestinians who have been martyred by Israeli military attacks and extend my deepest condolences to their loved ones. I also wish a swift recovery for those injured in these tragic incidents."
