Ignoring the party’s policies and ideals, Farid Mia, the Member Secretary of Gouranadi Municipal BNP under Barishal North District, recently unjustly assaulted Gouranadi Municipality employee Gias Uddin Khandaker. In response to this incident, a show-cause notice was issued to Farid Mia on March 16, 2025, granting him 24 hours to provide an explanation. However, instead of responding to the notice, he exhibited audacious behavior by forcibly obtaining a signature on a blank paper from Gias Uddin Khandaker with the help of his associates.  

Due to his involvement in the heinous act of physically assaulting and harassing Gias Uddin Khandaker in public, failing to respond to the show-cause notice, and later coercing Gias Uddin Khandaker into signing a blank paper, Farid Mia has been relieved from all positions, including his primary membership in the party, at all levels.
