
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's Condolence Message
BNP National Executive Committee member and former Member of Parliament, Alhaj Nazim Uddin Ahmed, passed away last night at 11 PM. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioon. He was 85 years old at the time of his death. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep sorrow and grief at his passing.
In a condolence message today, the BNP Secretary General said, "A devoted politician who believed in the principles of Bangladeshi nationalism, was honest, dutiful, and committed, the late Nazim Uddin Ahmed will always be remembered with great respect by the nation for his dedication to the cause of securing democratic rights for the people throughout his illustrious political career. As a former Member of Parliament, he made significant contributions to the development of his constituency. He worked with skill and dedication throughout his distinguished political life. His death has cast a shadow of deep sorrow over the area. Furthermore, his strong participation in every democratic movement under the leadership of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman is undoubtedly worthy of praise. I pray for the forgiveness of the soul of the late Nazim Uddin Ahmed and extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, relatives, and well-wishers."
