Condolence Message from BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir
Former member of Magura District BNP and former Vice-President of Shreepur Upazila BNP, Mr. Rustam Ali Khan, passed away this morning due to old age. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un. He was 85 years old at the time of his death. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Mr. Rustam Ali Khan.
In a condolence message today, the BNP Secretary General stated, “I am deeply saddened by the death of Mr. Rustam Ali Khan, just as his family members are. As a strong leader of Magura District and Shreepur Upazila BNP, he was dedicated to establishing the organization on a solid foundation. The late Mr. Rustam Ali Khan was a devoted follower of the principles and ideals of former President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam. Under the leadership of Begum Khaleda Zia, he played a courageous role in every democratic movement and struggle, which is undoubtedly commendable. I pray to the Almighty to grant him Jannah and give his grieving family members the strength to endure this profound loss.”
In his condolence message, the BNP Secretary General prayed for the forgiveness of Rustam Ali Khan’s departed soul and extended his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and well-wishers.
