Condolence Message from BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman
BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council Member and former Member of Parliament, Begum Rozy Kabir, passed away early this morning while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un. She was 73 years old at the time of her death. BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Begum Rozy Kabir.
In a condolence message today, the Acting Chairman of BNP stated, “The late Begum Rozy Kabir was a patriotic politician of Bangladesh. She was widely recognized as a popular leader in her local area. She had unwavering faith in the principles and ideals of the late President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam and was a firm believer in the philosophy of Bangladeshi nationalism. She was highly regarded among BNP leaders and activists. As a former Member of Parliament, she served the country and the party with integrity and dedication. Furthermore, her commendable efforts in organizing and strengthening the BNP in her area were praiseworthy. Public welfare was the main objective of her political career. She firmly embraced nationalist and democratic ideals and actively participated in the democratic movement for freedom of speech and expression. I am deeply saddened by the loss of such an idealistic politician.
