Condolence Message of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir   

Professor Dr. A.Q.M. Badruddoza Chowdhury, former President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, founding Secretary General of BNP, President of Bikalpa Dhara, and renowned physician, passed away last night while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un. He was 94 years old at the time of his death. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Professor Dr. A.Q.M. Badruddoza Chowdhury.

In a condolence message today, the BNP Secretary General said, "I am deeply saddened by the death of Professor Dr. A.Q.M. Badruddoza Chowdhury, just like his family and loved ones. The late Badruddoza Chowdhury served the nation as a skilled and wise politician. He was a distinguished figure in national politics. Throughout his illustrious political career, he established himself as an adept organizer and an astute politician in the country’s political arena. His sincere dedication to democracy gave him a distinct stature. He was an unwavering and courageous fighter in the struggle for national independence, freedom, and democratic rights of the people. Alongside his political contributions, the compassionate late Badruddoza Chowdhury also served people as a renowned physician."

In his condolence message, the BNP Secretary General prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul of Professor Dr. A.Q.M. Badruddoza Chowdhury and extended his deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members, relatives, admirers, and followers.
