BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir gave the following message on the Occasion of Holy Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.
Message
"Today is the holy Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of the greatest human being of all time. The arrival of this blessed child shook the world. His advent shattered the deep darkness of disbelief and the shackles of misguidance. On the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), I wish peace and well-being to the people of this country and the Muslim Ummah. I extend my heartfelt greetings and congratulations to them.
The greatest teacher of mankind, a symbol of peace, struggle, and harmony, the most truthful and trustworthy, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). His timeless values, humanity, compassion, generosity, and empathy for people will remain a shining example for humanity. From childhood, he never lied, never betrayed a trust, always helped others, respected elders, and was affectionate towards the young. Dedicating himself to the pursuit of truth, he was bestowed with prophethood at the age of 40. Through tireless efforts, he spread the message of monotheism (Tawhid) throughout the world. Allah the Almighty revealed the Holy Quran to the Prophet (PBUH), which, by following its teachings, provides guidance for human beings in this world and salvation in the hereafter, making people complete and dignified. His life and work inspire a deep call for the liberation of mankind and the establishment of humanity. Let us all strive to follow his exemplary life and teachings in our own lives and become true believers. For this, I pray to Allah, the Lord of all worlds.
I send my salutations to the last prophet, the leader of all messengers, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
May Allah protect us, Bangladesh Zindabad."
