Condolence Message of  BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir

Alhaj Afsar Hossain Alam, former General Secretary of Mehendiganj Upazila BNP, former Organizational Secretary of Barisal North District BNP, and a member of the Convening Committee of Barisal North District BNP, passed away on September 7 at 11:00 AM while undergoing treatment at United Hospital in the capital. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. At the time of his death, he was 70 years old. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing of Alhaj Afsar Hossain Alam, who was also the father of Asif Hossain Rochi, former Joint Secretary of the Central Committee of Jatiyatabadi Chatradal and Convenor of BUET Chatradal.

In a condolence message today, the BNP Secretary General said, "Like his grieving family, I am also deeply saddened by the death of Alhaj Afsar Hossain Alam. The late Alhaj Afsar Hossain Alam was a devoted leader of BNP who firmly believed in the principles and ideals of the Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam and the philosophy of Bangladeshi nationalism. His active participation in the democratic movements under the leadership of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia was commendable. As a pious, honest, and virtuous individual, he was respected by all in his community. I pray that Almighty Allah grants him a place in Jannah and gives strength to his grieving family to bear this loss."

In his message, the BNP Secretary General prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul of Alhaj Afsar Hossain Alam and extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, admirers, and well-wishers.
