Statement of BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi

Md. Masud Rana, Member Secretary of Jubodal (South) Ward No. 7 of Mugda Police Station, was taken away by the white-clothed DB Police in a Haice vehicle from Suti Calvert Dhalpur on 01/11/2023 at 7.30 pm. They took his motorcycle with him.

So far, no state organization has acknowledged the arrest of this youth leader. They have not yet appeared in public him. In this situation, his family is in extreme anxiety.

Disappearances, murders, extrajudicial killings have become the only programs of the government. BNP had repeatedly warned the government to stop kidnappings in the country. But the government did not pay attention. Disappearance is still continued to scare the activists.

I strongly condemn and protest this incident and call for the immediate return of Md. Masud Rana to his family.
