Program on the occasion of 45th anniversary of BNP:

On the occasion of BNP's 45th founding anniversary, a joint meeting was held today 21 August 2023, Monday at 12 noon at the party's central office in Nayapaltan under the chairmanship of BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. The meeting was attended by the party's senior joint secretary general, joint general secretaries, convenor member secretaries of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BNP, central president/convener/general secretary/member secretaries of organs and affiliated organizations. This joint meeting was held to formulate the program of the 45th anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP. In the meeting, it was unanimously decided to hold the following program to celebrate the anniversary with due dignity:

1. At 6 am party flag hoisting at party offices across the country including the central office of BNP in Nayapaltan.

2. At 11 a.m., leaders of the party's central and organ and subsidiary organizations along with the members of the party's national standing committee will offer Fateha recitation and wreaths at the shrine of martyred President Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam who was the founder chairman of BNP, the herald of great independence, the founder of multi-party democracy and the shaper of modern Bangladesh.

3. A discussion meeting will be held on the purpose and significance of the establishment of BNP. The elite intellectuals of the country along with the senior leaders of the party will participate in it. The date and venue of the meeting will be announced later.

4. A colorful rally will be held on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the party.

5. On the occasion of the foundation anniversary, posters and postscript will be published in newspapers.

6. Accordingly the units across the country are requested to observe the 45th anniversary of the party on September 1, 2023 with due dignity as per their convenience. The units will conduct discussion meetings and other programs as per their convenient time.
