Condolence statement of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep grief over the tragic death of 17 people, including children, after a passenger bus lost control and fell into a pond in Jhalkathi on Saturday. He expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to the injured. Besides, he has expressed deep concern over the casualty of people in such accidents all over the country.

In a condolence statement today, BNP General Secretary said, "The tragic loss of life of 17 people, including children, when a passenger bus fell into a pond in Jhalkathi yesterday Saturday is heartbreaking and poignant. Like the relatives of the countless people who are losing their lives and getting injured in road accidents across the country almost every day, I am deeply saddened and saddened. Currently, road accidents have taken a terrible form. Due to mismanagement and extreme apathy of the government, the level of road accidents has increased.”
