BNP today announced a series of programmes from a rally held after the completion of its road march in Chattogram starting on October 9.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the programmes, announced under its one-point demand that seeks the next national polls to be held under a neutral caretaker government after the resignation of the government, will begin on October 9 with processions and rallies in metropolitan cities and districts.

The programme will be followed by a student convention in Dhaka on October 12. On October 14, BNP will observe a countrywide hunger strike which will be followed by a youth rally on October 16, he added.

On October 18, BNP will organise a rally in Dhaka from where the next programmes will be announced, Fakhrul said.
