Three organizations of BNP organized a youth road march from Rangpur city to Dinajpur to demand the fall of the government. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir spoke at 9 places along the 80 km long road.
At the end of the road march in Dinajpur, he said to the government in his closing speech, "Listen to me, please give up power." You will be brought down the way dictatorial governments have been brought down in the past. People across the country have woken up. Bangladesh will be liberated under the leadership of youth through awakening.
BNP Secretary General also said to the government, dissolve this parliament now. Abolish Party Election Commission. Transfer power to a neutral caretaker government. Give fair elections.
Mirza Fakhrul said after the first day's road march at the truck station ground of Dinajpur city, Sheikh Hasina's government is not elected. Power is seized by force. They want a one-sided election again. Now people have turned around. This time, your broom won't fit anymore. People of the country and all political parties are united. Can't fool them anymore.
Mirza Fakhrul said that there are false cases in the name of 4 million people. BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman, BNP leader Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Amanullah Aman and many leaders and activists have been sentenced in false cases.
Fakhrul said, not only us, but people from all over the world are saying today that the election in Bangladesh was not fair and it will not be this time either. Fair elections should be held under a neutral government.
He also said that they are trying to hold fake election again. That's why everything is being organized. DC has appointed SP as per his wish. People will not accept it. He demanded to establish a neutral government.
Fakhrul said, Begum Khaleda Zia is very ill, she is not receiving treatment.
Mirza Fakhrul inaugurated the youth road march from Rangpur district BNP office premises at 11:30 am. The president of Swachhsevak Dal SM Jilani presided over the closing rally at the truck stand in Dinajpur city. Acting General Secretary of Juba Dal Shariful Islam Milton, General Secretary of Volunteers Dal Rajib Ahsan, General Secretary of Chhatra Dal Saif Mahmud Jewel conducted it. Chhatra Dal in-charge Rashed Iqbal Khan, BNP Farhad Hossain Azad and others spoke.
The second day's road march will begin at 9 am on Sunday morning from the Bogra four road junction, and the end will be announced after going to Rajshahi via Naogaon.
