After the meeting, BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury told the media that the upcoming national election was given the most importance in the discussion. Everyone is concerned about how the election is going to be, he is also concerned. Their position is similar to that of other democratic states.

Also, they asked about Begum Khaleda Zia's health and wanted to know how she is, Amir Khosru said.

In response to the questions of journalists, he said that they also want to see free, impartial, acceptable, credible international standard elections in Bangladesh like other countries. Everyone is interested in elections of Bangladesh.

Were there any discussion about the election government? In response to such a question, Khosru said, we told them that there is no chance of going to the elections under Sheikh Hasina, because any election under Sheikh Hasina will not bring anything to the people. Elections under this government are nothing but a scheme to steal votes and get power.

He said, they want to see credible, participatory, free and impartial international standard elections, naturally we think that this is not possible without an impartial government.
