BNP has announced a 3-day leaflet distribution program for dengue prevention and public awareness. This leaflet distribution program will be held in all cities including Dhaka from Tuesday to next Thursday.

Senior joint secretary general of the party Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced this program in a press conference organized at the central office of BNP in Nayapaltan of the capital on Monday afternoon.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, BNP will distribute leaflets in all cities including Dhaka for 3 days from September 12 (Tuesday) to September 14 (Thursday) for dengue prevention and public awareness. Tomorrow Tuesday at 10:30 am in front of BNP central office in Nayapaltan, party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will inaugurate this leaflet distribution program.

He said, dengue death is not decreasing. Dengue is a year-round disease transmitted by the Aedes mosquito, with an increase in incidence during the monsoon and autumn seasons. Since the beginning of September, the number of deaths due to dengue has increased at an unusual rate. And currently there is no sign of dengue cases decreasing. If the number of infected does not decrease, the number of deaths will not decrease. Despite the repeated recurrence of this terrible disease, no advance warning or prevention and prevention efforts have been made by the government. If the government had prepared in advance to prevent this deadly disease, the current epidemic situation would not have arisen.

Rizvi said, due to the outbreak of dengue this year, extreme panic has spread among people across the country including the capital Dhaka. But the government has no initiative to prevent that disease.

 Patients are in poor condition due to poor quality insecticides and medical equipment to diagnose this disease. Every day so many patients are increasing that the hospital is not being accommodated. People's lives are most at risk today because of the lack of humanity of this fascist government. Illegal ruling groups and their accomplices are responsible for this deplorable situation.
