BNP will hold a rally in Dhaka on September 15 (Friday) to protest against the unjust punishment of party leaders and activists in false cases.

The rally will be held in front of the party's central office in Nayapaltan at 3 pm on that day as a joint initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BNP.

A letter was sent to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner's office on Sunday seeking permission for the rally.

A leader of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP said that BNP leaders and activists are being unjustly punished in false cases. Among them, Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP convener Aman Ullah Aman has been taken to jail in a case. South Member Secretary Rafiqul Alam Majnu, Tanveer Ahmed Rabin, many leaders and activists of the party have been arrested. This rally will be held in protest.
