BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has commented that the people of the country have 'notified' the ruling Awami League government.

Mirza Fakhrul said, the presence of lakhs of people in this sunshine and rain today proves that the people of this country have not informed the government. The people of the country do not want to see Sheikh Hasina's government in power anymore.

The General Secretary of BNP said these things in a short rally in front of the central office in Nayapaltan after the mass rally of the North and South BNP in the capital on Saturday (September 9) afternoon.

BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas said that an Awami League minister said that if BNP comes to power, no one in Awami League will be safe. We want to say - if Awami League comes to power again, not a single person in the country will be able to stay safe. The country will not have independence and sovereignty. So this incident must be dismissed.

BNP Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said that the government is plotting to kill Khaleda Zia. He is not being given proper treatment. It should be remembered that the release of Khaleda Zia means the release of democracy.
