The current government and the two City Corporations of Dhaka have failed to control dengue, commented BNP Standing Committee member Dr. Abdul Moeen Khan. He said, according to our constitution, it is the responsibility of the government to ensure 5 basic things. One of them is the medical system. But this government could not ensure medical care for people.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion program titled 'Dengue Situation and Actions' at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan on Monday (September 4) afternoon. The meeting was organized by Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF).

Executive Director of the organization Professor Dr. Entomologist Professor Dr. Farhad Halim Donor presented the main article in the meeting. Mohammad Saifullah. Under the direction of agriculturist Shamimur Rahman Shamim, Joint Secretary General of BNP Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, President of Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) Professor Dr. Haroon Al Rashid, Member Secretary of the Combined Professional Council, Quader Gani Chowdhury, Professor Lutfar Rahman, Convener of Dhaka University Sada Dal.

Abdul Moeen Khan said, they could not vaccinate people during Corona. But the poor people of this country have kept this government alive by paying taxes. But people did not get the vaccine bought with people's tax money. Is the government accountable? But the agenda of the government is public welfare. They come to power at a certain time by the fair and impartial vote of the people. That is called election. BNP was once in charge of running the country. Today it is in opposition. Although this government is not serving the people, today we are serving the people from the opposition party under difficult conditions. Because Ziaur Rahman is the main mantra giver of doing something for society and people. He used to do these things.

He said that despite spending crores of rupees, the present government and the two city corporations of Dhaka could not control dengue. They failed. On the other hand, on the contrary, their work has been imposed on innocent citizens. It is against morality. Government corruption is behind it.
