BNP held a black flag rally in the capital to demand the resignation of the government.

On Friday (August 25) afternoon, leaders and supporters of BNP took part in the rally. Apart from this, the presence of common people in the procession was also noticeable.

The procession separately organized by Dhaka Metropolitan North and South.

The procession of Dhaka Metropolitan South started from Nayapaltan and ended at Dayaganj of Old Dhaka. A brief rally was held in front of the party's central office before the start of the black flag march organized by Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP. Mirza Abbas, a member of the party's standing committee, spoke from the temporary stage here. Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, another member of the party's standing committee, also spoke at this time. Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP convener Abdus Salam presided the rally.

On the other hand, the black flag procession organized by Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP ended at Mohammadpur Bus Stand from Shyamoli Ring Road via Shia Mosque. BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury participated in this procession as the chief guest.

Apart from this, as part of a simultaneous program on the same demand, the Ganatandra Mancha marched from Shahbagh intersection at 4 pm. The procession ended at New market via Elephant Road.
