The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced a sit-in programme at all key entry points of Dhaka for Saturday (July 29).

The programe will be observed from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the announcement from the party’s grand rally in front of its Nayapaltan office on Friday (July 28).

During his address, Mirza Fakhrul said it is not only BNP’s grand rally, but the massive rally is for change in Bangladesh. People all over the country are saying the same thing, from Teknaf to Tentulia, everyone says Zia Zia. So today everyone’s one point demand is Sheikh Hasina’s resignation.

The Secretary General of BNP said the prices of electricity, fuel, rice, sugar, oil have increased in the country. Human life became restless. The government has looted thousands of crore of taka in the power sector. By doing corruption in almost all sectors, they smuggled all the money abroad. There will be no elections under this government. Elections will be held under a neutral caretaker government.
