He complained that the current government has destroyed the library. I don’t know how much you know, but I know… Earlier in every district, government libraries were built and baradhs were provided, lots of books were provided. There is a National Book Centre, from where books are sent there (to different libraries) every year. It’s all closed now.

Mirza Fakhrul also said that the library movement is no more. We have to create this movement. Inaugurated today in the 15 districts, the library must be turned into a movement. Not everyone does this, those who do need to be encouraged. There is no need to politicize everything.

He said, library must be given utmost importance to enrich politics. We should take efforts to build at least one library in every district. I can proudly say that BNP is the party which is building libraries in districts.
